Matting & Framing Information

Although we offer matting and framing with our prints, unless you live in Central Oregon, we highly recommend that you purchase the print only and have it framed by a local specialist. The reasons for this are print safety, cost, and display options. Packaging and shipping a large framed print is both difficult and expensive, and can result in damage. We therefore prefer to ship our prints rolled in a "bomb proof" heavy-weight mailing tube, which guarantees their safe and timely arrival at a very low cost. The money and time saved by this method can then be applied to having the print framed by a local craftsman who can offer more display solutions than we are able to offer on our site. That said, if you want your print to arrive ready to hang, and like a clean gallery presentation, these are our matting and framing options...

MATTING INFORMATION: Our prints are matted to gallery standards, using 4-ply museum grade 100% cotton rag board to assure the best archival environment for the print. We use a bright white single window mat to create a clean neutral surround for the photograph, and allow the greatest display flexibility for the widest variety of decor styles.

FRAMING INFORMATION: We use a walnut color classic solid wood gallery frame on all our prints, with "Acrylite" glazing, to perfectly compliment the clean design of the print, and enable you to immediately display it on your wall. Two moulding styles are used, based on print size, which are illustrated here. Other wood colors (as shown) may be special ordered at an additional cost. Please email us, or call toll free at 800.570.7662, for details.
